About Me

My work consists of pencil drawings, pastel landscapes and other works on paper. I have exhibited my work throughout the Pacific Northwest for three decades.

My pencil technique started in my first college art class. When given the assignment of studying and experimenting with the style of a favorite master, I chose the pencil and chalk drawings of Michelangelo. I strive for simplicity of composition in both my pencil drawings and my pastel landscapes which are influenced by the Hudson River School painters, Turner and other masters of atmospheric light.

I am currently not exhibiting or selling my work, but you can contact me here if you have any questions or comments.

Thank you.
